அரசு, அரசு உதவி பெறும், அரசால் அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்ட பள்ளிகளில் முதலாம் வகுப்பு முதல் 10-ஆம் வகுப்பு வரை பயின்று வரும், கிறித்துவர், இஸ்லாமியர், புத்த மதத்தினர், சீக்கியர், பார்சி, ஜெயின் ஆகியோருக்கு கல்வி உதவித்தொகை திட்டத்தின் கீழ், 2015-16 ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கான கல்வி உதவித்தொகை வழங்கப்பட உள்ளது. இதற்காக, சிறுபான்மை மாணவர்களிடமிருந்து ஜூலை இறுதிக்குள் விண்ணப்பங்கள் வரவேற்கப்படுகின்றன.

இந்த திட்டத்தின் கீழ், கல்வி உதவித்தொகை பெறுவதற்கு மாணவ, மாணவியரின் பெற்றோர், பாதுகாவலர் ஆகியோரின் ஆண்டு வருமானம் ரூ.1 லட்சத்துக்குள் இருக்க வேண்டும். மாணவர்கள் முந்தைய ஆண்டின் இறுதித் தேர்வில் 50 சதவீதம் மதிப்பெண்களுக்கு குறையாமல் தேர்ச்சி பெற்றிருத்தல் வேண்டும். மேலும், பிற்படுத்தப்பட்டோர் நலத்துறை, ஆதிதிராவிடர் நலத்துறை, இதர துறைகள், நலவாரியங்கள் உள்ளிட்ட துறைகளிடமிருந்து நிகழாண்டில் கல்வி உதவித்தொகை பெறுதல் கூடாது. புதிதாக, புதுப்பிக்கும் கல்வி உதவித்தொகை விண்ணப்பங்களை ஒன்றாம் வகுப்பு முதல் 8 ஆம் வகுப்பு வரை உள்ள மாணவர்கள் www.bcmbcmw.tn.gov.in என்ற இணையதள முகவரியிலிருந்து விண்ணப்பத்தினை பதிவிறக்கம் செய்து கொள்ளலாம்.
இதற்கான, விண்ணப்பங்களை பூர்த்தி செய்து, தாங்கள் பயின்று வரும் பள்ளிகளில் ஜூலை 15-க்குள் சமர்ப்பிக்க வேண்டும். மேலும், 9, 10 ஆம் வகுப்பு மாணவர்கள் www.scholarships.gov.in என்ற இணையதள முகவரியில் ஆன்லைன் மூலமே விண்ணப்பிக்க வேண்டும். இதைத்தவிர, ஆன்லைனில் விண்ணப்பிக்கும் போது இணைக்க வேண்டிய ஆவணங்களை ஸ்கேன் செய்து அப்லோடு செய்திட வேண்டும்.
பிறகு, விண்ணப்பத்தைப் பதிவிறக்கம் செய்து பயின்று வரும் பள்ளியில் ஜூலை 31-க்குள் சமர்பிக்க வேண்டும். மாணவர்களிடமிருந்து பெற்ற விண்ணப்பங்களை கல்வி நிலையங்கள் சரிபார்த்து, அதற்கான கேட்புப் பட்டியலில் பதிந்து, சென்னை மாவட்ட ஆட்சியர் அலுவலகத்திலுள்ள, மாவட்ட பிற்படுத்தப்பட்டோர், சிறுபான்மையினர் நல அலுவலரிடம் ஜூலை 25-இல் சமர்ப்பிக்க வேண்டும். மேலும், 9,10 ஆம் வகுப்பு மாணவர்களுக்கான விண்ணப்பத்தை ஆன்லைன் மூலம் ஜூலை 31- க்குள் அனுப்ப வேண்டும் எனத் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது
