RTI
The
Government of India have enacted the Right to Information Act 2005 (Act
22 of 2005) which came into effect from 15.06.2005. This act provides
for Right to Information to citizens to secure access to information
under the control of public authorities and also to promote transparency
and accountability in the working of every Public Authority.
Under Section 4(1)(b) of the Act, it is mandatory for the public authorities to publish all particulars required therein for information of the public.
Public Information Officers & Appellate Authorities
